Akerboom Nurseries, Inc. is located in Cumberland County, New
Jersey. For direct pickup of plant material and tours of the
nursery (by appointment), the following driving directions should be
used:
- From Delaware Memorial Bridge:
Take Route 49 to Bridgeton. At the intersection of Rt. 49 and 77,
turn right and head south out of Bridgeton. You will be
on an one way street for about 1 mile. When the road turns
into a two lane road, look for Rt. 553 South. Continue following the
signs for 553 south through the town of Fairton to Cedarville.
Fairton is about 4 miles outside of Bridgeton, and
Cedarville is about 5 miles from Fairton. At the traffic light in
Cedarville, continue south on 553 approximately 2 miles. Our nursery
is on the right hand side. Look for the big red and white barn with
the greenhouses behind it.

- From the NJ Turnpike:
Take 322 East to Mullica Hill. In Mullica Hill, follow the
signs that say Rt. 77 South. Take Route 77 South all the way to the
end in Bridgeton. This is about 25 miles or more.
In downtown Bridgeton, Rt. 77 ends at an
intersection with Rt. 49. Cross over Rt. 49 and continue
south out of Bridgeton to the next town of Fairton. Please
refer to the paragraph under Del. Mem. Bridge for
directions from Bridgeton to Cedarville.
- From Rt. 55:
Heading south on Rt. 55, take the exit that says South Vineland,
Millville, Rt. 47. Turn right off of the exit on to 47 south. Take
47 south into Millville. At the intersection of Rt. 47 and Rt. 49,
turn right. Go through the traffic lights and over the bridge to the
next intersection which will have a blinking light. Turn left at
that blinking light. At the next traffic light, continue straight
and follow the signs that say 610. Follow 610 for about 10 miles to
Cedarville. At the traffic light in Cedarville, turn left and follow
the signs for Rt. 553 South for approximately 2 miles. The nursery
is on the right.
